BCCI made an announcement earlier this week about broadcast rights of Twenty20 series, Star network bargained the deal for 34.2 crore Indian rupee after an elaborate bidding process. BCCI president Ajay Shirke said, “I am pleased to announce that Star India will be the official broadcaster. It will ensure the BCCI is able to guarantee maximum exposure and further increase the visibility of this new initiative.” (sourced from Cricbuzz).
